Solid Ground were engaged to level-up and re-turf the training areas around the complex so that teams could warm-up before matches. The scope of works included spraying and poisoning out the existing grass, then spreading new sand across the surface, before mixing the sand and existing soil with the Blecavator. Once mixed, the surface was laser-levelled to 1 in 100 fall towards Parramatta river, before new Kikuyu Turf was supplied and installed.
From the moment we hit the ground, our sports turf team used just over a week to complete the entire process and most importantly – the client was extremely happy.
